Koyomi Japan ("we", "this site") is an independent travel information site at koyomijapan.com. This page explains what information we collect from visitors and how it is used. No account or login is required to use the site.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand overall site traffic — which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive at the site, and general location/device information. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this data. See Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles this information.

Affiliate and partner links

Some links on this site (for example, hotel searches, tour and activity listings, and eSIM offers) are affiliate links, and some event pages embed a GetYourGuide activity widget. Clicking these links or interacting with embedded widgets may set cookies from the partner (Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Airalo, or similar) used to attribute a booking back to this site. We do not receive or store any personal or payment information from these bookings ourselves — that is handled entirely by the partner site. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more detail.

User-submitted content

Event pages let visitors optionally submit a crowd-level report, a short text tip, or confirm that an event's dates are still correct. These submissions do not require a name, email, or account. Submitted text is reviewed before being shown publicly. Please don't include personal information in a tip if you'd rather it not be published — submitted tips are treated as public content once approved.

Data storage

Event data and approved user submissions are stored with Supabase, our database provider. We do not sell visitor data to third parties.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site adds features. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
