Central Hiroshima's Peace Boulevard and the Kamiyacho shopping district are strung with light tunnels and illuminated trees each winter, turning the city's main east-west avenue into a walk-through display for about seven weeks.
Background
Organized by the city and local business associations, Dreamination has run every winter since the late 1990s and is timed to run through the New Year holiday as well as Christmas.

Kamiyacho-nishi and Kamiyacho-higashi tram stops (Hiroshima Electric Railway) sit at the heart of the display; Hiroshima Station is about 15 minutes away by tram.
