The Blue Cave lines the zelkova trees from Shibuya's Koen-dori up to Yoyogi Park with around 500,000 blue lights, turning the avenue into a glowing blue tunnel for the weeks before Christmas — one of Tokyo's most photographed December light displays.

Last season (2025) it ran from December 4 to December 25, lit 5:00–10:00 PM. The 2026 dates are announced by the organizers ahead of the season.

10 min walk from JR Harajuku Station or Meiji-jingumae Station (Tokyo Metro); also reachable from Shibuya, Yoyogi-koen and Yoyogi-Hachiman stations.

Tips
- Last season it was lit 5:00–10:00 PM. Hours can change for rain, and the organizers may stop the lights if the avenue gets too crowded.
- Weeknights are much calmer than the weekends and Christmas Eve.
