Magical Winter is the limited-time winter event at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter, the film-set tour in Nerima, Tokyo. In 2026–27 it runs from November 13, 2026 to January 11, 2027. The Great Hall is dressed for Christmas with around 400 floating candles, a decorated Christmas tree and tables set for a feast, the Hogwarts Castle model is covered in snow, and for the first time the Forbidden Forest is snowed in too, with Buckbeak and glowing magical footprints leading through it. The studio says something new is coming to Diagon Alley as well, with details still to be announced.

Background

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo opened in 2023 on the former site of the Toshimaen amusement park, and is the second Making of Harry Potter studio tour after the one near London. The previous two winters, in 2024–25 and 2025–26, the seasonal event ran as "Hogwarts in the Snow". For 2026–27 it has been renamed Magical Winter, and the snowy Forbidden Forest is new this season.

Getting there

Toshimaen Station is a 2-minute walk from the entrance. It is served directly by the Seibu Ikebukuro (Toshima) Line from Seibu Ikebukuro Station (about 17 minutes) and by the Toei Oedo Line from Shinjuku Station (about 20 minutes). The Airport Limousine Bus on the Haneda Airport – Hikarigaoka/Nerima route stops at the Studio Tour's main entrance.
