Universal Studios Japan gives its whole park over to a winter season each year, with decoration throughout the streets and night shows staged in Grammercy Park in the New York area. The 2026 edition is called Universal Holiday Wonders ~Discover U!!!~ and runs from November 13, 2026 to January 17, 2027, timed to the park's 25th anniversary.
Background
Universal Studios Japan opened in 2001 and has run a winter season almost every year since, centred on Grammercy Park. The season is renamed and re-programmed most years — the 2025 edition was Universal Christmas Joy — so the line-up changes even though the dates land in roughly the same November-to-January window each time.
Getting there
Universal City Station on the JR Yumesaki Line (officially the Sakurajima Line) is a few minutes' walk from the park gates. From Osaka Station the trip takes about 11 minutes with one change at Nishikujo.

- The two night shows — Light Up the Night ~Christmas Celebration~ and Joy of Lights, back after nine years — run on a shorter window than the season itself: November 25, 2026 to January 11, 2027, both in Grammercy Park.
