The Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Christmas Market sets German-style wooden huts in front of the 110-year-old brick warehouses on Yokohama's waterfront, with a live tree of around 11 m, a 30 m roof of lights between the buildings and views of the Minato Mirai skyline.
Background
First held in 2010, the market reached its 16th edition in 2025 with a record 61 shops and about 1.21 million visitors. The huts and decorations are imported from Germany. The 2026 theme is 'Tsunagari' (connections), and the tree is a Sakhalin spruce from Tokachi in Hokkaido that is chipped and returned to the forest after the season.

About 6 min walk from Bashamichi or Nihon-odori Station (Minatomirai Line); 12 min from Minatomirai Station; about 15 min from JR/Municipal Subway Sakuragicho Station (via Kishamichi) or Kannai Station.

Tips
- Entry to the main area is paid: regular tickets run ¥500–¥1,000 by date, and priority entry ¥2,000–¥2,500. Children of elementary-school age and under are free with a guardian. Ticket details are released from late October.
- Same-day regular tickets at the venue are cash only.
- Hours: November 21 – December 4, 11:00 AM–9:00 PM; December 5–25, 11:00 AM–10:00 PM. Opening day (November 20) runs 5:00–9:00 PM only.
- The tree is lit from 4:00 PM, so late afternoon gives you both daylight and illumination.
- The mug design changes every year. 2026's is white and red on a 'Christmas sky' theme, with a premium version made with Noritake.
