Nagoya Christmas Market sets up in Hisaya-odori Park in Sakae with a giant live fir tree, German regional dishes, Glühwein, stollen and Christmas goods imported from Europe. Admission is free.
Background
First held in 2013 and organized by Tokai TV and the Chunichi Shimbun, the market reached its 11th edition in 2025. That year ran 21 days, its longest yet, and added Angel Plaza alongside EDION Hisaya Plaza. It is supported by Aichi Prefecture, Nagoya City, the German National Tourist Office and the German Consulate General.

Tips
- In 2025 the market ran December 5–25: weekdays 4:00–9:00 PM, weekends 11:00 AM–9:00 PM and December 24–25 from 2:00 PM. 2026 dates had not been announced as of late September.
- Stalls take cash only. You can buy ¥500 vouchers by card at the 'Souvenir Laden' booth.
- Tables can't be reserved, and outside food and drink aren't allowed.
