Osaka Tenshiba Christmas Market fills the lawn of Tennoji Park with stalls selling Glühwein, German beer and food, Christmas sweets and goods, with live music and workshops on some days. It is next to Tennoji Station and Abeno Harukas. Admission is free.
Background
The market is supported by the German Consulate General in Osaka-Kobe, the German National Tourist Office, Tennoji Ward and the Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau. It filled the gap left in Osaka after the long-running German Christmas Market at Umeda Sky Building was discontinued. The 2026 edition was announced on September 5, 2026.

Tips
- 2026 hours: opening day (November 20) 4:00–9:00 PM; November 21 – December 18, 11:00 AM–9:00 PM; December 19–25, 11:00 AM–9:30 PM.
- The park warns that the last days before Christmas get very crowded and suggests coming earlier in the season.
- Seating is self-service, and you can't hold seats by leaving belongings on them. The whole park is non-smoking.
